500 years ago Martin Luther put 95 thesis on the door of the Wittenberg church. He didn’t put it there to be published, but soon it was published by some of his followers. Later the Five’ Solas’ of Reformation came into being. 1.     Sola Scriptura (“Scripture alone”): The Bible alone is our highest authority. 2.     Sola Fide (“faith alone”): We are saved through faith alone in Jesus Christ. 3.     Sola Gratia (“grace alone”): We are saved by the grace of God alone. 4.     Solus Christus (“Christ alone”): Jesus Christ alone is our Lord, Saviour, and King. 5.     Soli Deo Gloria (“to the glory of God alone”): We live for the glory of God alone. All these five ‘Solas’became the Slogans of Protestantism. We are here thinking about Christ alone is the way of Salvation . I am happy to scribble few words of thoughts which may enable us to draw more closer to the Lord and thereby grow into the Christian maturity. “ By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures”. Prov.24:3,4 Wisdom, understanding, knowledge .  King Solomon highlights these three words to show a stable long lasting, beautiful house. It is all about our family life rather than a house with mud and cement. It can also refer literally to a building or a dynasty. A house is built by wisdom. Wisdom is commonly known as God given ability to practice what we know. It is practical knowledge. A house is established through understanding. We want our house to be established for a long time. Youth Board has been praying for a missionary who would co-ordinate the ministry among youngsters in order to bring them up in the knowledge of Lord Jesus Christ. As a result of prayer God has given us Mr. Anish Thomas John (Ezhamkulam), as a Youth Board Missionary. He left his job as an Engineer and completed B.D. from UBS Pune and joined Youth Board for the ministry. Kindly uphold him in your prayers.
